• Evaporator – Removes the heat and humidity from the passenger compartment.
• Expansion Valve/Orifice Tube – Controls and lowers the pressure of the refrigerant prior to entering the evaporator.
• Hose/Fittings – Specially designed hose carries the refrigerant and refrigerant oil from one component to another. Fittings provide a connection to each component, which can crack and leak.
• Accumulator/Receiver-Drier – Removes moisture from inside the system and stores and filters the refrigerant and oil.
• Condenser – Removes the heat from the refrigerant, changing it from a hot vapor to a warm liquid.
